The following backup policies are implemented by Rightworks to protect client data including file (network drives), Exchange server (email), and SQL server (databases) data.

Rightworks performs backups of file data (network drives) on the following basis:

• daily snapshot (checkpoint) - retained for 10 days
• weekday incremental backups - retained for 10 days
• weekly full backups - retained for 4 weeks
• monthly full backups - retained for 11 months
• annual full backups performed at the end of every April - retained for 3 years

The weekly, monthly, and annual backups are full, snapshot backups and do not include incremental changes that occurred between backups.

Requests to restore data from backup may take up to 5 business days to complete.

Rightworks performs backups of Exchange server (email) and SQL server (database) data on the following basis:

• weekday full backups - retained for 5 days
• weekly full backups - retained for 4 weeks
• monthly full backups - retained for 11 months
• annual full backups performed at the end of every April - retained for 3 years

The weekly, monthly, and annual backups are full, snapshot backups and do not include incremental changes that occurred between backups.

Requests to restore data from backup may take up to 5 business days to complete.
